ABOUT THE AUTHOR
HER INSPIRATIONI find myself inspired by the little things: a fresh sheet of paper does me wonders. But what really intrigues me is nature. Have you ever just stopped and listened? I mean really listen and looked at your surroundings! There is inspiration all around us. The freshly cut blades of grass, the weary smells, airplanes, the wind, moon, and stars. My inspiration is life and just having the ability to geer my mind to whatever ends I desire.HOW THE BOOK CAME ABOUTEvery woman understands the hardships that they must undergo when dealing with the effects of their menstruation. But I, however, learned the hard way while walking to class one day. I discovered that I was having emotional difficulties coping with the everyday norms, for example: if someone talked to me in a certain tone; I would cry uncontrollably. After that mishap, I decided to get over my fears and consult with a Gynecologist. The Gynecologist diagnosed me with P.P.M.D, which clarified a lot of my hormonal outbursts. The only method that would help me control my emotions was to write down any creative thoughts that came to mind, and this is how “I Got Kicked Out Heaven Because Of My P.M.S” came about.

Just when you thought that women on earth had it bad!
I Got Kicked Out Of Heaven Because Of My P.M.S blends elements of farce and fantasy to provide a comedic look at a serious topic, the so-called “monthly curse.” Bernadette Jackson, is a Physics student at Harvard. One day while on her way to class, she is hit by a semi-truck and killed. At the crash site, she is approached by two angels who ask her to become a guardian angel. But that wasn't the only thing that she had to deal with. Bernadette also had to deal with the effects of her holy period; which drives her into doing something that she later regrets. While in heaven, Bernadette develops an enemy named Meghan, who is a goody too shoes that does anything and everything to get on Gods good graces. Twenty-one days of the month, Bernadette can barely stand it, but for the seven she menstruates, the mere sight of Meghan nauseates her. She physically assaults Meghan, and God banishes them both to the inferno. The struggles Bernadette undergoes with Meghan in the inferno lead to two startling developments: hell can be the source of good, and PMS can be a blessing.

Chapter Nine
Day Two
There is no time down here and every day looked the same. We wake up in a black abyss of nothingness, with the only inclination of light is from the hell's angels. I am happy that we made it through what seemed to be an endless night. Patricio brought us two plates of food and placed them next to our mattresses. For someone who is damned to hell, he is a pretty nice guy.
Meghan is still sound asleep. I figured she planned on sleeping the next few days off until God comes to get us. As I tucked Meghan in I heard a big knock on the red door that seemed to shake the whole building. Everyone in the building ran out of their rooms.
“Meghan, wake up. We have to go!”
“What’s going on?”
“I don't know but everyone is running.”
Patricio came into the room.
“Let's go ladies.”
I ran out of the building into the dark as fast as I could.
“Patricio, what was that?”
“Hell’s angels looking for people to torment.”
“Can we go back into that building?”
“Yes we can, but later.”
We kept on running, following the sounds of footsteps in the dark. We ran into another abandoned building and hid beneath the baseboards until the hell's angels were done looking for people. At that point, Meghan was beyond terrified. She wouldn't let go of my hand. I held her close to my body and told her that everything would be alright.
“At least they can't kill us!” I kidded.
Meghan snickered but was still terrified at what the hell's angels could do to us.
“Be quiet. Something’s coming.” Patricio whispered.
